Who are Eligible for SSP Scholarship 2024?

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
• The family’s annual income must be less than INR 2,50,000.
• The applicant must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC).

Eligibility Criteria for Vidyasiri Scholarship

The Vidyasiri Scholarship is intended to support students from Karnataka who are part of the SC/ST or Minority communities and meet the following conditions:

• Applicant must reside in Karnataka.
• Applicant should maintain at least 75% attendance in their academic year.
• Applicant family annual income should be within the specified limits:
  • INR 2 lakh or less for SC/ST students.

Eligibility Criteria for Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities 

1. Residence:
   • The student must be a domicile of Karnataka.
2. Educational Level:
   • The student must be enrolled in one of the following levels of education:
     • Class 11 or 12 (Intermediate),
     • Undergraduate (Bachelor’s degree),
     • Postgraduate (Master’s degree),
     • Technical or vocational courses,
     • M.Phil, or
     • PhD.
3. Academic Performance:
   • The student must have scored at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination.
4. Income Limit:
   • The student’s annual income from all sources should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh.
5. Community Affiliation:
   • The student must belong to one of the minority communities, including:

     • Buddhist,

     • Zoroastrian/Parsi.

• Scholarship Amount: Provided monthly for ten months.

Eligibility Criteria : SSP Scholarship 2024

1. Residency and Caste:
   • Must be a permanent resident of Karnataka and belong to a caste included in the backward classes list specified by the Government (CAT-1, Other OBC-2A, 3A, 3B).
2. Educational Institution:
   • Students should be pursuing post-matric courses in government/local body/aided institutions or recognized unaided private institutions affiliated with statutory universities of Karnataka.
3. Annual Income:
   • Annual income of parents must be less than INR 2.5 lakhs for CAT-1 and less than INR 1 lakh for CAT-2A, 3A, 3B, and other OBC.
4. Residential Status:
   • Students admitted to government hostels/residential colleges are not eligible for post-matric scholarships.
5. Academic Performance:
   • Minimum marks required:
     • 40% for fresh and 50% for renewal in the previous year’s annual examination for CAT-1.
     • 50% for fresh and 60% for renewal in the last year’s annual examination for CAT-2A, 3A, and 3B.
6. Family Members:
   • Only two male family members are eligible for the scheme with no restrictions for girls.
