Paper I:

  • Completion of Intermediate (Class 12), i.e., 2nd PUC with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
  • Possession of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized institution.

Paper II:

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
  • Completion of either a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a two-year Bachelor’s of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
  • Age Limit for KARTET Paper I: Between the ages of 18 and 40 years.
  • Age Limit for KARTET Paper II: Between the age range of 21 to 40 years.
